Fake Geek Boiz Ep. 12: A Dirty Diaper Filled With Chicken Tika Masala/TOP 10 COMIC BOOK MOVIES

• August 3rd, 2016

Overcome with excitement for "Suicide Squad," the Boiz host a couple of Maron-style interviews with surprise guests Jared Leto & Margot Robbie in the Danktum Danktorum. Then, they decide to celebrate how many other great comic book movies are out there by running down their personal Top 10 lists. Will Ryan remember the intense connection the Boiz shared over "Punisher: War Zone?" Will "The Dark Knight Rises" tear the Boiz apart? Will either Boi actually write their power rankings down? Not likely, loyal listeners!

• August 2nd, 2016

Stoop Kid. Lockjaw. Grandpa. Gerald. Arnold. They made up the fabric of our childhoods, but is "Hey Arnold!" as great as we remember? In this episode of Static Frequency, Cory and Brian discuss how the Football Head managed to afford that sweet room, the walking horror that is Helga Pataki, and how Grandma may have created an eco-terrorist. If you listen to one episode of Static Frequency, make it this one.

Fake Geek Boiz Ep. 11.5: Taylor Swift’s Beau - A SDCC Recap

• July 28th, 2016

Turns out that if you take a shot at a Pod God, you best not miss. Ryan catches Josh up on an absolutely awful deal he made for some passes to San Diego Comic-Con, and when he finally cheers up they decide to hash out the true winners and losers of SDCC 2016. The Boiz are shocked by how awesome Kong: Skull Island looks, and anti-shocked by how deeply uncomfortable the preview trailer for Justice League looks. Ryan and Josh light up the All-New All-Different Danktum Danktorum with their hot takes on Legion, the DC CW universe, and Gal Gadot saving DC movies all by herself.

Fake Geek Boiz Ep. 11: Ryan Fraer, Jorts Puncher!

• July 26th, 2016

Ryan & Josh open the episode with a bit of confession within the Danktum Danktorum...then they dive deep into AMC's Preacher, based on the comic by Garth Ennis & Steve Dillon! The Boiz truly earn their "fake geek" status by relaying that they've never read it before...but they dig the show! They chat about the amazing action, bravura performance from Ruth Negga, and the deft adaptation from Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg. Then, Ryan launches into a Cassidy-level rage at a fellow Pod God and vows to punch him in the jorts, before Josh talks him off the new-media ledge. Then, the Boiz chat about what they've been reading: Ryan's been courting Death herself, while Josh thinks the work of Tom King is truly a Vision.

Then, Julian runs down his Steam Summer Sale purchases before diving head first into the classic debate: story vs gameplay. All that after the jump.

Fake Geek Boiz Ep. 10: Dick Dastardly Leather Daddy

• July 21st, 2016

In an episode filled with audio to be later edited on Gawker and TMZ, the Boiz are lighting up the Danktum Danktorum with the future-focus of Marvel NOW! and the strange, wonderful revisionism of D.C.'s Hanna-Barbera books. Ryan & Josh run down their takes on the new Avengers titles, speculate on the fate of Scott Summers, and Josh melts Ryan's face with a nuclear-level take on The Flintstones.

Static Frequency Ep. 3: Black Mirror

• July 16th, 2016

In this week's episode of Static Frequency, Cory and Brian soak themselves in the muck and mire of society to discuss the first three episodes of Charlie Brooker's popular science fiction anthology series, Black Mirror. Things get dense and philosophical as the British Prime Minister is asked to commit an unspeakable act, a man sacrifices everything he has to get a woman he barely knows onto a singing competition, and a couple's relationship disintegrates under the weight of their perfect memories. This is an intense one.

To help wash off the delicious filth of Black Mirror,  our listener poll includes three famous Nickelodeon cartoons from 90's. Which one will we watch next week: Rugrats, Hey Arnold, or Doug? You decide!
